Providing The Best Tutoring Experience
Since 2014, I have been teaching English online as a career. I have worked with a wide range of talents and enjoy the challenges and rewards of each student. I strive to make each class a learning moment and one that they will build off of for each future class.
I listen to what the student needs help with what they truly need help with. With my experience and expertise in phonics and grammar, I can quickly build confidence in students, so they feel more comfortable speaking in English.
In addition to each class, I email a daily comment report and write a detailed monthly progress report describing the success, challenges and next steps. Below you will get an overview of what a class structure is like. I look forward to helping you or your child gain the skills in English to make for a brighter future.

The Heart Of Class
End Of Class
At the beginning of class, I will allow for a few minutes of free talking and follow up on assignments. I will also introduce what I will be teaching in class. If the student needs more time on a previous topic, I will accommodate and make sure that the student feels supported before moving on to a new subject or topic.
During class, I use interactive activities and have the student give examples of the topics we learn and discuss. With Zoom I use annotate with the student, so they are able to show me in real time how they are learning and growing. I use guided curriculum that I have created to support their learning goals.
At the end of class, I review anything we learned in class and make sure the student understands what we discussed. I will often times ask the student to tell me what they have learned or how I can help them in the next class. It is important that I get feedback so I can provide the most effective teaching I can. If there is homework or writing that needs to be turned in during the week, I will let them know that I will be checking emails daily. I will also go over what is expect for the next class.
